Tentative Program based on Two Nights at Machan Paradise View
Day 1:
Arrive at Machan Paradise View via Narayan Ghat, which is 20 K.M from the main highway. Upon arrival, there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities, rooms will be assigned.
At 1:00 O’clock Lunch is served
3:00 PM: Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours.
7:00 PM: Slide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.
OR
Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall.Day 2:
5:30 AM: Bird Watching: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee and proceed for bird watching. Out of 519 species of the birds we have recorded 276 species in our area. Hence, Machan Paradise View is considered as real Paradise for bird watchers. Our guides will help you to identify some of the species of these birds.
8:30 AM: Back for the Breakfast
9:30 AM: Elephant briefing programme: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables.
1:00 PM: Lunch at the dinning hall
3:30 PM: Jeep Safari/ Canoeing: Drive to Kasara, the head quarter of The Royal Chitwan National Park to see the Gharial (Alligator) hatchery project, founded by Frankfurt Zoological Society. After a short briefing about the project, drive to the oxbow lakes (Lami Tal & Tamar Tal) by Land Rover through dense sal forest to encounter various plants and other wildlife. And brief walk to the canoeing put in point. Start canoeing in a traditional dug-out canoe which takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds, crocodiles and the animals of the river banks.

Day 3:
5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then start a Walk to village, our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and will show you their lifestyle.
8.00 AM: Breakfast
9.30 AM: Luggage down and departure to your following destination.
The actual program for your stay with us will be given to you on arrival at Resort. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by our expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgment at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.
